The Bernal Heights Democratic Club is unique among the city’s chartered Democratic Clubs because we still deliver our slate card by hand, to every door in Bernal Heights and St. Mary’s, before each election. Because we deliver our card by hand, we’re not dependent on candidates or campaign committees to pay us to mail the card out. This allows us to endorse the best candidate and take the correct position on initiatives, regardless of whether they’ll be willing to donate.

We’ll be posting our endorsements in future elections, as well as action alerts and some history and information about our neighborhood, Bernal Heights.

MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT
On May 5th, at 7 PM, we are having a second endorsement meeting for the June 8th election. At this meeting we will be taking up city propostions that we deferred voting on and possible endorsements of the candidates for the San Francisco County Central Committee (SFDCCC). There are links to the questionnaires on the page named SFDCCC Information.

The meeting is at the Bernal Heights Neighborhood Center.
